Vincent de Vries spent enough time in Glasgow with Fernando Ricksen to know what the city meant to him. But it took seeing a security guard with tears in his eyes at Glasgow Airport six weeks after Ricksen finally succumbed to a six-year battle with Motor Neurone Disease last September to really ram home what Fernando meant to the city.
