Dwight Yorke admits he finds it CRAZY that Michael Beale has landed another job in management after his Rangers failure. The Englishman has taken over at Sunderland less than three months after he was given the boot a Ibrox.

Yorke finished his illustrious playing career at the Stadium of Light and the 52-year-old has been desperately trying to get a job in the dug-out, touting himself for the Aberdeen job before Barry Robson landed the gig.

Yorke had a spell working in Australia and can’t get his head around how someone like Beale, who left his first job in management at QPR to take over at Rangers, where he had been a coach under Steven Gerrard, and others who have been sacked find another job so soon.

He told Footy Accumulators: “Was I surprised at Michael Beale’s appointment? Well, people are given chances from failed opportunities and it baffles me. “He was an assistant at Villa, did OK.
