Officers are working on a "proportionate policing plan" to allow Rangers supporters to watch the Europa League final safely amid calls for fan zones to show the match in Glasgow.
The Gers are heading to Seville after they beat RB Leipzig 3-1 in a thrilling semi-final at Ibrox Stadium on Thursday night.
The Glasgow side battled back from behind as early goals in the second leg from James Tavernier and Glen Kamara sent them on their way before John Lundstram fired in the winner late on.
That goal sent Rangers to the final where they will face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Spanish city on Wednesday, May 18 - and a huge 100,000 supporters are expected to make the trip across for the match.
