Rangers duo extend loans at Hamilton as boss targets more signings

Hamilton Accies Women boss Robert Watson says he hopes to land two new signings after extending deals for a Rangers loan duo until the end of the season.Gers stars Mason Blyth-Clark and Beeca Taylor have renewed their stays at New Douglas Park until the end of the SWPL1 campaign, and bottom side Accies are hoping to strengthen in the coming weeks with the news midfielder Abi McDonald is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.Watson said: “It is good to have Mason and Becca on board for the rest of the season.

Mason has already proven herself to be a key player and although Becca has had a few injury problems, she has managed to get over that and I can see her becoming an important player for us in the second half of the season.“She has the ability but it has taken her a wee bit of time to get over her knocks and really show that.“We are hoping to get one or two others in.“Rachel Wright has gone back to Partick Thistle and we have a possible long-term injury to Abi McDonald, which we will find out more about this week.
