Ramy Youssef has shown what happens if you are left up Schitt's Creek without an award after losing out at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards.
The 29-year-old star of comedy Ramy had made history by being the first Muslim-American show to have an Emmy nomination but it wasn't to be on the night.
He was up against Schitt's Creek in the three categories in which he was nominated but the feelgood comedy came up tops across the board, scooping all four comedy awards.
It is the first time the awards ceremony was held virtually with the nominees at home and Jimmy Kimmel hosting proceedings from an empty Staples Center in Los Angeles.
