A customer lost the plot and punched a KFC manager after complaining about the eatery's toilets.Kenneth Scott, 51, grabbed fast-food restaurant manager Fraser Roebuck by the neck and punched him on the back of the head after complaining about the lack of loo roll and hand soap.Scott, of Craigielea Park in Renfrew, admitted the assault, which took place in the town's Braille Crescent branch on April 23. Prosecutor Jason Stark told Paisley Sheriff Court: “Around 6.40pm Fraser Roebuck was working as a manager in the store.“The accused came up to the counter complaining he was dissatisfied with the male toilets.“Due to the nature of the complaint an inspection was carried out.
Once in the male toilets, the manager deemed them satisfactory.“This angered the accused and he grabbed Me Roebuck by the neck and punched him on the back of the head.“The police were contacted and they arrived at 6.55pm and arrested the accused.”Defence agent Kevin Brady told the court that the state of the loos was much worse than the Crown had narrated.Mr Brady explained: “Mr Scott attended the restaurant with his wife and son, and while his wife was ordering the food he went to the toilet.“His wife sent their son to ask Mr Scott what he wanted to order and he had to ask his son to go get toilet paper.“There was no lock on the door and no soap in the dispenser.
