Raging mum stabbed ex's new love through thigh with kitchen knife in 'foul temper'

A young mum stabbed her ex-partner's new girlfriend with such force the knife passed through her thigh in a fit of jealous rage.

Imogen Hughes told police she would "f***ing kill" Liberty Hanley after she had knifed her while she sat with CJ Jones eating takeaway food.

Mold Crown Court heard Hughes had earlier pulled out the victim’s long hair extensions and natural hair in a furious attack in a nightclub before being thrown out by doormen, North Wales Live reports.

She went home to get a kitchen knife to escalate the attack in St Giles car park in Wrexham. Judge Rhys Rowlands sentenced Hughes to 10 months in jail but told her the jail term "would have been much longer had you not been the mother of a young child.” Hughes, of Tan y Dre,
