Radio host Erin Molan collapses on air with fear during spider segment

The handler — who was present at the show — also allegedly told Molan and a listener who was present and taking part in the segment on spider fear to “stay calm” and “breathe.” While the listener managed to hold the spider briefly, Molan let out a horrified scream. “We can stop if you want to stop,” the handler told Molan. “The most important thing is that you feel safe and that you feel comfortable.”Molan’s co-host, Hughesy, also echoed the handler’s sentiment.

But Molan was determined to complete the task and face her fear. The radio star actually managed to get the spider on her before she fainted. “We need to go to a break, go to a break, absolutely.
