Radio 2 legend Ken Bruce says he wants to die on air and never retire. The 70-year-old who regularly has over eight millions listeners, said: “I’m going to die in harness, I think.

I’ll just keep going, I think. “I’ve found over the last year when I’ve been working from home, although that’s very different, I still get a huge buzz from being on the radio, I love it. “I’m not going to walk away in a hurry, I’m not going to look at the passage of time, I’m not going to look at my date of birth and think, ‘It’s time I stopped.’ If I take that decision it’ll be because either I can’t do it anymore, or because I think the time is right. “I don’t think I’ll stop doing it, if I don’t do it on Radio 2 I’ll do it somewhere else.
