Rachel Zegler, Ben Platt, & Cynthia Erivo to Honor Stephen Sondheim at Grammys 2022

The 2022 Grammys will be paying tribute to the late Stephen Sondheim. On Wednesday (March 23), it was reported that Rachel Zegler, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo, and Leslie Odom Jr. will be honoring the late Broadway composer with a performance during the upcoming awards show. Click inside to read more… The salute to Stephen will be be part of the Grammys‘ traditional In Memoriam segment, rather than a separate moment during the telecast, Variety reports.

The Grammys have not yet officially announced Rachel, Ben, Cynthia, and Leslie‘s performance. Stephen died at the age of 91 back in November 2021.

He is best known for his work for West Side Story, Gypsy, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company and A Little Night Music, among many other Broadway musical works.
