Rachel, 46, and Alex, 47, married in 2009 and share daughters Amelie, 12, and Minnie, nine, who they are now amicably co-parenting together.The former couple have also both now moved on with new partners, with Alex branding them a "blended family".
The estate agent has now opened up about their split, admitting it was initially "terrifying". However, he feels he and Rachel have "handled it really well". "It was terrifying at the start and it's not easy – and maybe I am making it all happy families - but we've handled it really well.
I guess we are a blended family and I'm totally cool with it," Alex told The Daily Mail. Rachel is now in a relationship Dancing On Ice professional skater Brendyn Hatfield, with the pair publicly sharing their relationship in November.
