Irish jockey Rachael Blackmore delighted The Late Late Show viewers last night as she appeared to discuss his historic year so far that most recently includes her record-breaking Grand National win.
Rachael spoke about her early days on the saddle, the journey to the Grand National, and how it feels to be the first female jockey to ever have won the race.
The 31-year-old spoke lovingly about the sport and her years of dedication to it, telling Ryan ‘you just have a love for riding horses and winning’.
Naturally, viewers were quick to praise the sportswoman and how she is a great ambassador for our country. Not only that but Rachael has joined the ranks of the likes of Katie Taylor, Sonia O’Sullivan, and other iconic Irish women in sport.
