Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab has warned that the country could face a second national lockdown by Christmas unless everyone follows the latest coronavirus rules.Speaking to BBC Breakfast this morning, the cabinet minister said that if everyone co-operates, with ‘no one thinking they are immune’, the country can experience Christmas without a lockdown as strict as we saw in Spring.He said: “If everyone follows these measures and no-one thinks that somehow they’re immune or that they don’t have a role to play, if we all pull together as we did during the peak of the virus, we’ll get through this, I’m very confident about that.“We’ll get to Christmas not in a national lockdown, with the economy, with schools open, with the social interaction.
