The home where R. Kelly allegedly held a number of women captive has been sold, it has been reported. The rapper is awaiting trial in America on 22 charges, including sexual abuse and exploitation and trafficking underage girls.

If found guilty he would also face the prospect of years in prison for producing indecent images of children and destroying evidence.

He denies the charges against him. The music star has moved to a jail in New York City and now the home at the centre of some of the claims has a new owner.

It has been alleged that the 54-year-old kept women at the property as part of a 'sex cult'. Docuseries Surviving R. Kelly detailed many accusations, including some from inside Atlanta mansion.
