The Queen herself will have the final say, with the Duke of Sussex set to be removed as Captain General of the Royal Marines, among his other honours.
Buckingham Palace will make an announcement in the weeks before March 31, the deadline for the 12-month review of Harry's decision to step down as a senior royal alongside his wife Meghan Markle.
However, his replacement is not expected to be officially named until the summer with a number of royals in the running for the job.
