The Queen's granddaughter is set to attend St Andrews University to study English after receiving her A-level results today, according to Buckingham Palace.

Lady Louise Windsor, 18, is the oldest child of Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex and will start her degree course in September.

She will also be following in the footsteps of her oldest cousin Prince William and his wife Kate who both attended the Fife-based university, where they first met.

While Buckingham Palace has not revealed what grade Lady Louise received on her exams, it is safe to assume they were pretty good since St Andrews is one of Britain's top-rated universities, with standard entry grades set at AAA while the minimum entry grade for English courses at the institution is ABB, the Mirror reports.
