Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

The late Queen Elizabeth was the proud great-grandmother of 12 beautiful children but was particularly touched by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's gesture to name their daughter after her.

The beloved monarch's youngest great-granddaughter was named after the Queen's family nickname, Lilibet.The sweet name was given to the monarch as a child due to her not being able to pronounce Elizabeth properly as a toddler and it has stuck ever since.Prince Harry paid tribute to his grandmother as he and Meghan decided to name their daughter after the Queen along with Lilibet's middle name Diana - a poignant tribute to his late mother, the former Princess of Wales.

The Queen, as we previously reported, had been determined to spend some quality time with her mini namesake and was devastated when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to America according to Her Majesty's former footman, Paul Burrell.

Losing the connection with Lilibet was deeply upsetting for the Queen in her final years, according to the ex-royal aide.Burrell added that when the Sussexes returned to the UK for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022, the Queen still didn't get to see her granddaughter on her first birthday.
