Doonhamers chief Marvin Bartley blasted his nine-man flops for another shocking show. The South started in dazzling form against Montrose and could have been two goals in front in the opening few minutes before Jack Brydon headed their first goal.
But Brydon turned from hero to villain by conceding a penalty which Rory McAllister converted earning a red card for his troubles.
Then Stephen Hendrie hammered a fabulous long-range goal to make it 2-1. However, the Gable Endies surged back and Craig Brown cracked in a second equaliser before McAllister made it 3-2 for the visitors.
But boss Bartley was blazing at the second sending off of Hendrie for two yellow cards within minutes. He said: “I am not going to have a go at referees, that’s firmly on us and I have let Stephen know that. “To get a first booking and then a second booking that quickly, that cannot happen.
