Queen Elizabeth Pays Tribute to Late Husband Prince Philip in Sweet & Subtle Way

justjared.comQueen Elizabeth is honoring her late husband. On Saturday (May 22), the 95-year-old Queen of England visited the company of the HMS Queen Elizabeth, an aircraft named after her, in Portsmouth, South East England.
While she was there, Queen Elizabeth went aboard the ship and met with the officers as well as the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, and Royal Marines personnel ahead of the carrier’s upcoming world tour.
For the visit, Queen Elizabeth‘s outfit featured a sweet tribute to the late Prince Philip. Queen Elizabeth wore a matching red coat and hat with a “Scarab” brooch in yellow gold, carved ruby and diamond, which was gift from her husband back in 1966. Prince Philip sadly passed away back on April 9 at the age of 99.
