The newest member of the British monarchy arrived on Friday, June 4. “The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of a daughter for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” the official Buckingham Palace statement reads. Lilibet‘s name is in tribute to her great-grandmother, as it was once her own nickname when she was a young child.
