Queen Camilla is set to pay tribute to the late Paul O'Grady on a Christmas Day radio show, according to reports. The 76 year old royal, who was close friends with the legendary TV presenter, will reportedly say how she was “endlessly touched by the kindness of his heart” and how she misses him “very much”.The Queen Consort is said to be among the family members and celebrities who will pay tribute to Paul in a special show held in his honour on Boom Radio on 25 December.
Paul, who died suddenly and unexpectedly aged 67 following a cardiac arrest in March this year, hosted his legendary Christmas Day on the radio station for 14 years.
His friend, comedian Julian Clary, and his producer Malcolm Prince will play songs by some of Paul’s favourite singers and artists during this year's tribute show - along with the special messages from those who knew the late star.
According to MailOnline, Queen Camilla’s tribute will be the one she wrote following Paul's death that was read out at his Memorial Service in October. “I miss Paul very much,” it reads. “I had the pleasure of knowing him for many years, laughing at his waspish way with words and endlessly touched by the kindness of his heart. “He was the most welcome guest at any event, from glamorous parties to private visits to our beloved Battersea, and was loved by one and all.
