They are a seasonal go-to for many chocoholics during the festive period, but this year's box of Quality Street chocolates might look a little different.
The UK confectionary giant has announced it will be ditching its famous shiny plastic wrappers in a bid to make them more eco-friendly and easy to recycle.
It will be the first time in 86 years that the popular chocolates will no longer feature the iconic shiny, see-through foil that we have all come to know and love.
Instead, chocolate lovers will now find favourites such as the Orange Creme and the Purple One wrapped in a wax paper packet, reports LeicestershireLive.Chocolate historian Alex Hutchinson said: “It’s a huge deal.
