Primary six and seven at Greenhills have been learning about Japan for a class topic.And they were very lucky to be visited by the professional drummer who taught them how to play the Taiko drums, as well as more about the culture and history of the war drums in Japan.Although extremely noisy, the children thoroughly enjoyed their experience and, by the end of the lesson, were very enthusiastic about playing the drums.The drums could be heard throughout the school and as it was maths week, the pupils were encouraged to relate their learning back to numbers.P7
