Pupils and teachers at St Aidan’s High School were delighted to celebrate St Aidan’s Feast Day with a mass on Thursday, August 31 , write Emily James and Mariesha Ward .
Bishop Toal led the mass and several other priests from local parishes joined him: Father Krzysztof Garwolinki, Father Stephen Rooney and Holy Ghost Fathers, Father Bonaventure and Father Femi.The mass was attended by S1 and S6 pupils.
Senior staff were also present with headteacher Claire Connelly who gave a thoughtful speech at the end of the mass including thanks to Father Bonaventure who will be departing as School Chaplain.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
