Bar regulars missing their local have built their own in the garden.And the video they’ve posted online shows a hysterical take on what real life used to be like at the Wee Windaes in Ayr.Paul and Pat Banks yearned for the natty banter within the Newmarket Street establishment after about nine weeks away.So not only did they build their version of the boozer at their home in Castlehill, they got their son Peter to pretend he was the host Jim McSherry.Paul,67, a retired engineer at NATS in Prestwick, said: “I had worried I might get banned from the real place once normality finally returns.“Jim buckled in laughter when he saw it, particularly when Peter pretended to go down the stairs to the cellar.“I was worried he might bar me over this!”
