A quick search on TikTok reveals that one of the hottest new nail trends is the Priscilla nails, inspired by the wedding day mani of Priscilla Presley.The renewed interest in the ex-wife of Elvis comes thanks to the release of the biopic about her life that landed in cinemas at the start of the year, and its spawned a whole host of new fashion and beauty trends from fans who are loving the vintage, romantic style of Priscilla herself.
The manicure trend is based on Priscilla’s almond shaped pale pink nails that she had during her wedding day to Elvis which featured heavily in the hit movie.
It may be more than 50 years since she first sported the look, but the new-found love for the design proves that trends will always come full circle.
