Printworks to 'relaunch' after £27m upgrade boasting feature that will be 'Europe's largest'
An iconic Mancunian nightlife spot for generations is about to reopen following a multi-million-pound refurbishment.
Manchester’s Printworks has undergone a £27m improvement project, with £21m of that being spent on transforming it into a ‘digital first entertainment venue’. That involves installing the largest digital ceiling in Europe transforming, at a massive 1,000 sqm.
Alongside the video ceiling, there will be a ‘giant interactive e-gaming screen’ and ‘spectacular lighting and sound effects’ after the investment. The remaining £6m has been spent on an upgrade to the Vue Cinema, bosses added.
