Princess Diana’s brother Earl Spencer says it is his “duty” to protect her reputation – and last night criticised a new probe into her explosive Panorama interview.
He said the investigation into the methods used to land the exclusive talk on the BBC programme in 1995 is not wide enough. It is alleged that Diana was hoodwinked into agreeing to speak to Panorama journalist Martin Bashir.
