Kate Middleton was seen comforting her daughter, Princess Charlotte, after she had a minor slip on the balcony of Buckingham Palace in 2018.

While she stood in front of her mum, the Duchess of Cambridge, and her dad, Prince William, waving right on cue, at one point the little royal appeared to stumble backwards - as if she fell off a small step she was standing on.

Charlotte then burst into tears but she was quickly scooped up for a reassuring cuddle by her mum Kate and was soon back on her feet to join in the festivities.

Princess Charlotte was joined by her older brother, Prince George, who was seen grinning and waving at the crowd below as they revelled in one of the most grand Royal events of the year. The ceremony also featured an RAF flypast, which seemed to thrill the young prince, who is set to turn five next month, as he watched the formation of warplanes zoom overhead.
