Princess Beatrice has given birth to her first child, a baby girl, and she is set to receive a special title. The couple welcomed a six-pound, two-ounce little girl last week in London, with a statement reading: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday 18 September 2021, at 23.42 at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London." And while the couple are yet to announce the name of their daughter, she is set to believed to be handed a title.
This is not because the Queen is expected to offer her one, but because Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is a count.
