"Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery. The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to the princess for a speedy recovery.” The exact cause of the injuries is unconfirmed, but Anne’s medical team have said that her head injuries were consistent with a potential impact from a horse’s head or legs, according to ITV.

Anne has lived at Gatcombe Park, which is a 700 acre estate she shares with her husband Sir Timothy Laurence, for over five decades.

She moved in during the 1970s after her late mother gifted her the sprawling Georgian residence. While Anne's daughter Zara has chosen to stay on the £11M estate, living there with her husband Mike Tindall and their three children - Mia, Lena, and Lucas.
