Prince William has visited Kate Middleton in hospital where she is recuperating from abdominal surgery. He was seen leaving the private London Clinic around 12.35pm on Thursday, 18 January.The princess was admitted on Tuesday for the successful, planned procedure but is expected to stay in hospital for 10 to 14 days before returning to her Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor.The nature of the princess’s condition has not been revealed although Kensington Palace confirmed it was not cancerous.
Prince William has postponed a number of official duties while his wife remains in hospital, and will instead be devoting his time to his family.
Kate is expected to stay for the next couple of weeks, longer than is usually advised after abdominal surgery, and will then take two to three months for her recovery once she is back in Windsor, which means she has had to postpone engagements and is not expected to be back on royal duties until after Easter.The news about Kate's health sparked concern from fans, but according to MailOnline palace sources have reassured that she is "doing well" following the operation.
Meanwhile, Dr Zoe Williams told The Sun: "Two weeks in hospital is longer than we would normally expect, but she doesn’t have a normal life.
