Prince William snubbed by cheeky Prince Louis on youngster's first day of school

The summer holidays are officially over and the new school year has now arrived for all children across the UK. Tomorrow, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will all be expected back in class to start the autumn term at Lambrook School.

The royal trio all began attending the school in Berkshire last year after relocating from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor with their parents Prince William and Kate Middleton.Starting at the school was an especially huge moment for Louis, who was just four years old at the time and it was his first time moving from pre-school, the Mirror reports.The youngster looked smart in his uniform as he confidently bounced up to the building alongside his parents and his two older siblings.Like all parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales might have felt worried about how their youngest child would be feeling about his big change in his life.But as it turned out, it appeared that the cheeky youngster did not need any encouragement at all, especially from his dad.A clip of the Wales family walking into school on their first day shows Louis refusing to hold William's hand as he proudly walks into class to meet his new headmaster.Louis clutches mum Kate's hand as William walks beside him on the left but when the future King offered his youngest son his hand, the young prince doesn't react and looks ahead as he leaves his dad hanging.

After a few seconds, the Prince of Wales seemingly admits defeat and gives the youngster a protective stroke on the head instead before they meet with headmaster Jonathan Perry.
