Prince William has an endearing French-inspired pet name for Princess Charlotte, revealed in an intimate moment during a royal visit. The Royal Family are, much like families up and down the country, known for having nicknames for each other which they use in informal settings.
For example, when she was a toddler the Queen became known as ‘Lilibet’ by close relatives within the family due the way she pronounced her own name Elizabeth.

William was visiting the Back to Nature Garden at the show in 2016, which his wife the Duchess of Cambridge had created, and was accompanied by Charlotte and her elder brother Prince George.
