Prince William has paid a heartfelt tribute to the 'legend of Rugby League' Rob Burrow, who tragically passed away at 41 after a long battle with motor neurone disease.The Prince of Wales reflected on the former England international's "huge heart", having raised millions for charity during his personal fight with motor neurone disease.
In a personal message shared on the X account for Kensington Palace, William said: "A legend of Rugby League, Rob Burrow had a huge heart.
He taught us, 'in a world full of adversity, we must dare to dream.' Catherine and I send our love to Lindsey, Jackson, Maya and Macy.
W." Earlier this year, William made a special visit to Leeds Headingley Stadium to present Rob with his CBE on the same pitch where he formerly played for Leeds Rhinos.
