Prince William's 'clear instructions' to Kate as Royal brothers maintain distance

In the past few years, Royal siblings Prince Harry and Prince William have noticeably kept their distance at public engagements.

Despite estrangement, they both put aside differences to attend Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022.This gathering also marked the first public appearance by Harry and Meghan Markle since their departure from Royal duties.

Although united for the event, both princes were strategically seated apart, not engaging in notable conversation.William's wife, Kate Middleton, was also present at the service.The Mirror reports a lip reader analysed an observed exchange between the two brothers on this occasion.

John Cassidy, the lip reading expert, believes that upon exiting onto the steps, Kate commented on the success of the service, stating: "It went very well, very well" to which William agreed: "Yes, perfect." Following this, William gestured towards the crowds in greeting, then turned to his wife, instructing her: "Wait for that to move, then we can go."In addition to Cassidy's observations, body language expert Judi James analysed the now Prince and Princess of Wales' interactions during the celebratory service.
