Prince William 'recognises brother Harry had harder upbringing' and was 'in pain'

Amid the Royal Family rift, Prince William "recognises" Prince Harry was in "a place of pain" and he had privileges that "weren't available" for his younger brother, according to a royal expert.

Harry, 38, has been noticeably distant from his family ever since he and his wife Meghan Markle stepped back from his royal duties in 2020.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex famously went on to be interviewed by Oprah Winfrey, filmed a Netflix docuseries and Harry released his explosive memoir, Spare, earlier this year.

As tensions take a noticeable shift, historian, writer and broadcaster Tessa Dunlop spoke exclusively to OK! about the brothers building bridges and how William, 41, is "hurt" but "recognises his brother was in a place of pain".

She said: "Obviously William feels really hurt and it'll take him a while to come back into the room, as it were, but if Harry can make it to the Coronation... "In the end, they are trained as well to put on a brave face and I think that's what William needs to do.
