Prince William praises Prince Philip for kindness he showed Kate Middleton when joining Royal family

After the tragic death of Prince Philip on Friday 9 March, his grandson Prince William has shared a tribute to him and thanked him for the love he showed to Kate Middleton when she first joined the Royal family.The dad-of-three, who pulled out of his BAFTAs appearance over the weekend, took to the Instagram account he shares with his wife to praise his grandfather for his kindness.The 38-year-old wrote: "I will always be grateful that my wife had so many years to get to know my grandfather and for the kindness he showed her." The Duke of Cambridge also went on to add that he will always cherish the time Prince Philip spent with his three children, George, seven, Charlotte, five, and two year old Louis.
