Prince William has warmly greeted US President-elect Donald Trump in Paris.The Prince of Wales made the journey to the French capital for the ceremonial reopening of Notre Dame cathedral, which suffered a devastating fire back in 2019.
Among the attendees was Mr Trump, who shared a brief exchange and handshake with William.The prince also received a warm welcome from French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte.
William is set to chat with America’s outgoing first lady Jill Biden at the ceremony before meeting Mr Trump again at another location in Paris.
Originally, William and Mr Trump were scheduled to meet prior to the cathedral event. The prince last met the 78 year old in 2019 during his state visit to the UK.
