Prince William has stepped out in public for the first time since claims emerged that medical staff had tried to access his wife Kate Middleton's medical records.The Prince of Wales met with members of the Welsh Guards on Wednesday 20th March, stopping by the Combermere Barracks near Windsor for a private visit which he shared on social media.
William, who has been Colonel since 2023, stopped by the barracks to see the current facilities and plans for their improvements.
He also spent time connecting with soldiers, medicals and physical training instructors. It is the first royal appointment Prince William has undertaken since it was reported that staff at The London Clinic - where Kate was a patient in January - had attempted to access her private medical records.The clinic addressed the claims earlier this week, stating that "all appropriate, regulatory and disciplinary steps will be taken".
Staff at the hospital are said to be "distraught" over the alleged attempt to access Kate's medical records. A source told the Mirror: "This is a major security breach and incredibly damaging for the hospital, given its unblemished reputation for treating members of the Royal Family.
