The gulf between Prince Harry and his dad Charles has 'widened considerably' and could prove difficult to bridge, a royal author has claimed.

Earlier this year Harry and wife Meghan sat down with Oprah to give a bombshell interview about life in the Royal Family. Among the sensational claims the Duke of Sussex said there was a 'lot of hurt' between him and his father.

Their relationship reportedly soured to the extent Prince Charles had stopped taking his son's calls following Harry and Meghan's decision to step away from royal duties.

Harry and Meghan, who left the Firm in March 2020, are now settled in the US with their son Archie and a daughter on the way - but tensions with the royals remain.
