Prince Harry's sharp take on the Middleton family's 'country bumpkin' life and William's 'obsession'

As the family of the Prince and Princess of Wales grew following the arrivals of Prince George and Princess Charlotte, a top royal author claimed that Prince Harry reportedly felt "displaced".

The strengthening 'family unit' left Prince Harry feeling side-lined as Prince William began to spend increasing amounts of time with his Middleton in-laws.

In her book The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor, the Truth and the Turmoil, author Tina Brown quotes a former aide who claimed that the brothers' "relationship hadn't been the same since William married Kate".

She further states that the gap between them widened even more after Princess Charlotte was born in 2015. In her revealing book, Brown penned: "Though they were still 'incredibly close, living next door to each other [at Kensington Palace], sharing the same office, and hanging out an awful lot,'" but alleged Harry "mourned his us-against-the-world bond with William", reports the Mirror.
