Buckingham Palace has quietly removed the HRH title from Prince Harry's biography on the official Royal Family website. The move comes three years after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior royals and relocated to America. The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, had her HRH title removed from the website following the couple's decision, however, Harry's was only removed recently, despite having given up the title when he stepped down from his role as a senior royal.Throughout his page, Harry is now referred to as "The Duke" or simply "he" rather than His Royal Highness.
It's unclear why there was a three-year delay in removing this from the website. In January 2020, Buckingham Palace released a statement announcing that Harry and Meghan would no longer use the HRH title.
It read: "The Sussexes will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family." OK! have contacted Buckingham Palace for comment.
And while the HRH title was removed from Meghan's page three years ago, it has since undergone some more changes. Much of the content about her philanthropic work and previous acting career has been moved from the 'About The Duchess of Sussex' to her biography page instead, while details on Harry's charitable work and army career remain in his 'About' section.
