Prince Harry Reveals He Has Been Cut Off Financially From His Family

Prince Harry is explaining why he and Meghan Markle signed their deals with Netflix and Spotify.

While talking with Oprah, the 36-year-old Prince revealed that the only reason they signed the deals was because he had been cut off financially from his family.

If you didn’t know, Meghan and Harry signed a podcast deal with Spotify which is rumored to be worth anywhere from $15 million to $18 million.

They also signed a five year deal with Netflix that is rumored to be worth to up to $100 million. Harry said that the deals were “never part of the plan,” but they needed to figure out a way to make money to pay for their security after they were cut off from the Royal Family, which Harry said happened “in the first quarter of 2020.” Also at
