It’s believed that Prince Harry was only informed of his grandmother the Queen’s death just five minutes before the Royal Family’s public announcement.
The Duke of Sussex rushed to Scotland on the day of the Queen’s passing, but was still airborne when it was announced that she'd died.
It’s now been revealed that it was just a matter of moments before the rest of the world found out about the late monarch’s death that her grandson Harry was informed.
He’d received a call from his father, King Charles III mid-air. The public statement was released at 6:30pm, with Harry’s plane landing in Aberdeen 16 minutes later.
