The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been instructed to mend their rift with the Prince and Princess of Wales and apologise for comments made in their infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey, according to royal insiders.
The interview is said to have “crossed the line” with Prince William and Kate Middleton feeling unable to move on until they receive an apology from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle .
Royal insiders say that the pair have been told to say sorry for the interview and "acknowledge the motives behind it" ahead of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II today.
Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals in 2020 and the pair then gave a no-holds-barred interview with US talk show host Oprah Winfrey.
