Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.
Prince George is certainly following in his father’s footsteps. The eldest of the Cambridge children, eight, showed off his charitable side during lockdown when he participated in an endeavour for a good cause.
His father, the Duke of Cambridge is often showing off his endeavours to better the world and one in particular is his position as President of United For Wildlife and Tusk Trust.
In 2018 he travelled to Africa without his wife to continue his efforts. More recently, Prince George played his own part for Tusk by organising a bake sale during lockdown with proceeds going to the charity.
Tusk’s chief executive Charlie Mayhew, told GB News that George, who turns nine next month, wrote a "very sweet card about it" telling of his concern for endangered animals in Africa.
