Boris Johnson insisted today that the Queen is on 'very good form' after the 95-year-old was advised to rest for a couple of weeks.
Buckingham Palace has confirmed she will only undertake 'desk-based duties'. The Prime Minister said he had spoken to the Queen as part of his regular audience with her on Wednesday. "She's just got to follow the advice of her doctors and get some rest and I think that's the important thing. "I think the whole country wishes her well." The Queen has undergone tests in and cancelled a two-day trip to Northern Ireland.
