Primark has been hit with an array of negative comments after launching mother and daughter matching spring dresses.The retailer revealed its new collection of 'gorgeous' floral dresses, with prices starting from just £6.
However, parents have since slammed the high street giant, with many urging the company to rethink their decision.The issue arose after Primark shared a video of the matching dresses on social media following the release in stores.
The TikTok video showed two mannequins in the floral patterned dresses, captioning the clip: "Time to twin with your little one." The video's voiceover said: "I don't know who needs to hear this, but spring is coming", with lots of mums in the comments explaining they couldn't wait to welcome the new season by twinning with their daughter.
However, others were left upset, reports the Mirror. Mums of little boys left comments expressing how disappointed they were that they could not match with their sons this springtime, with one writing: "Mums of boys would love it if Primark did a collection where you could match with the little men in your life!"Another fumed: "We want to match our boys too!
