Primark confirms new website launch with major change for shoppers

Primark has finally announced when its brand new website will be launching and it comes with an exciting new update for shoppers.The high-street fashion giant has confirmed the new website is on track to be launched by the end of March and it will allow shoppers to have a sneak peak of new ranges.It's a major change from the current website which only offers shoppers previews of what is currently in-store and doesn't provide any stock information.

On top of providing sneak peaks, the fashion chain also confirmed customers can check stock levels in their local store to see what is available, The Mirror reports.

The new update will come as welcome news to fans of the retailer who have had to keep up with their social media pages for any stock updates.Speaking of the new website, a spokesperson for Primark said: "The new website will showcase many more of our products and will provide customers with product availability by store," a statement said."However, one update that the retailer has not provided with the update is home delivery - meaning shoppers will still not be able to shop online.The retailer has faced calls from shoppers for an online store ever since the first lock-down which prevented them from heading into their favourite store.Primark were hit with a lack of income during the pandemic, after the non-essential retailer closed its doors to the public which seen their sales slump from £450 million to just £0.The decision to not offer home delivery comes after Primark announced a decrease in salesas they have been hit with less footfall due to a surge in the Omicron variant of Covid-19.In a recent trading update, Primark's owner - Associated British Foods - said that were 5% lower than pre-covid levels in the
